Was Your Claim Denied? You Can Appeal
You earned VA benefits through your service. You fought for your country, and you deserve to be compensated for your disability. As a veteran, you have the right to reopen a claim that the Department of Veterans Affairs has already denied.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website says:
“VA disability compensation (pay) offers a monthly tax-free payment to Veterans who
got sick or injured while serving in the military and to Veterans whose service made an
existing condition worse. You may qualify for VA disability benefits for physical
conditions (like a chronic illness or injury) and mental health conditions (like PTSD) that
developed before, during, or after service.”
√ But what if your VA claim is denied?
√ How do you fight your government for the benefits you’re entitled to?
√ What if you don’t have the time, money or skills to appeal your benefits
claim?

VA Service Connected Disability Compensation Benefits
Disability Compensation is a tax free payment to veterans with physical or mental disabilities that are the result of a disease or injury that happened while the vet was in active military service. A veteran who has a post-service disability that is related to a disability that occurred during active service is also entitled to compensation, even if that disability does not appear until after the vet has left active military service.
-
Widows and Widowers of Deceased Veterans Benefits
Service connected death benefits (DIC) may also be available to the surviving spouse and children of a deceased veteran if the cause of death was related to service.
